To add to their already impressive list of achievements, Blue Pyrenees has been awarded a Double Gold and Gold at the 2015 Melbourne International Wine Show.
The Melbourne International Wine Competition is the first major international wine competition with trade only judges. Unlike other wine competitions, these judges have the ability to make a direct impact on the brand.

Y86Y 是款混酿。此款西拉子赤霞珠红葡萄酒采摘自维多利亚州(Victoria)比利牛斯山脉地区的格兰克拉(Glenkara)葡萄园。葡萄采摘时间集中在凉爽的夜间,采摘得到的葡萄果实经过去梗、破皮等工序之后,会置入开放式的小发酵罐中。葡萄果实被冷却到摄氏5度,并在上面添加少量的酵母,以5天为一个小的发酵周期,每天手工搅拌3次。待葡萄酒发酵完成后,再转移到新橡木桶中经过18个月的熟成。细致、复杂的葡萄酒,完美地诠释了维多利亚州比利牛斯山产区的风土精髓。

墨尔本西北部古老的酒庄之一,位于海拔高度350米的地区,拥有排水性良好的红色黏土和灰色壤土;再加上每年一月到四月底该地区白天气候温和,晚间气候凉爽,有利于葡萄缓慢成熟,颜色和风味的形成。莓类果实的芳香与甘草的香气,还夹带着微弱的香料气息交织在一起,风味颇佳。
